DFT Lead Engineer


  • Summary

    DFT Lead/Engineer will be responsible for developing DFT solutions for a wide range of semiconductor products. This is a lead engineering role that will involve customer interaction. In this role, engineer will also be responsible for training, mentoring, and developing junior test engineers and flawless execution of projects.

  • Key Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering
    • Strong digital design knowledge
    • 3+ years of work experience in DFT
    • Strong debug skills in simulation, ATPG and test bring-up
    • Very good knowledge of DFT EDA tools
    • Good scripting knowledge
  • Responsibilities

    • Developing DFT solutions for a wide-range of semiconductor products; ranging from small analog devices to system-on-chips with high digital and high-performance analog content.
    • DFT solutions include DFT planning and architecture for logic, memories, and mixed-signal components
    • DFT IP RTL implementation, integration and verification, scan insertion, pattern generation including ATPG for advanced fault models, pattern simulation and handoff, timing closure constraints for test, power during test, test bring-up on silicon and fault diagnosis and failure analysis support.
    • In the initial phase, DFT Engineer will perform hands-on work for a few specific tasks, working along with the team in US. The candidate is however expected to ramp up quickly and take on additional products and DFT tasks when necessitated by business needs.
